When you hire The Sound Station Disc Jockey Service to provide Disc Jockey (DJ) service for your event this is what you get.
- We promptly reply to your email or phone call when you ask for a price quote for our DJ services.
- Our price quote is for the time that we play music we do not charge you for set-up or break down of the equipment. We do not charge for travel time. Also included in this quote is our DJ being covered by our liability insurance policy.
- Once the price quote has been agreed upon we give you a commitment that the date will be held until we get the signed contract, and deposit back.
- We provide you with 24 hrs / 7 days a week access to your online planning area where you can plan your event as well as select your music. This is important since the contract is drawn from information on this system. It is very important for you to fill out as much information that pertains to your event.
- We respond to phone calls as soon as possible if we are at or have an event it will be the next day. Since we devote our time to the event we are performing at the moment.
- Upon receipt of the contract, and deposit we will notify you as well as answer any questions you might have. We are there to assist you in any planning issues.
- The week before your event we go over any last minute details, music selections and again we remind you that we need a standard size banquet table as well as at least two separate electrical outlets. We also ask that if you are using a certain color scheme that you keep in mind a tablecloth for the DJ's table.
- On the day of your event we arrive at least two hours early to set up. We pride ourselves on the fact that this system is a neat and clean looking set-up.
- We will be neatly dressed in a suit or business casual. In some situations a tuxedo may be appropriate.

- In events that require sub woofers we are pleased to be using the Yorkville line.
- When the event starts we listen to you, and your guests. We keep the music sound level at a comfortable volume. Although our systems can get loud we only go as loud as you, and your guests want, but our main priority is you our client.
- We do take music requests... this is your party there is nothing worse then a DJ who does not take requests.... We hope you allow us to use our experience and feel the crowd out to see what music is going to get them up dancing providing there a dancing crowd, but we will take requests.
What you won't get from The Sound Station Disc Jockey Service:
- A loud obnoxious DJ talking on the microphone just to hear his own voice. We keep all talk to a minimum... obviously we make any announcements that you or your guests would like.
- We do not play silly games, hand out plastic blow-up type instruments, or put goofy looking wigs on your guests. When our clients spend the amount of money that it takes to put on an event the last thing we will do is embarrass you or your guests by our actions.
- We also will not be dressed in an obnoxious looking outfit.
